Summer 2020 Public Cruise Schedule and COVID-19 Guidelines
Public cruises will be on Saturdays and Sundays, one cruise each day, at 1:00.
Cruises will run from July 4 through September 27.
Please be at the dock 15 minutes before departure. The Barbara J is docked at First Street in Conneaut Lake, by Ice House Park.
Public cruise fares are: $10 for an adult, $5 dollars for children 5 to 16, and no-charge for children under 5. You pay for the cruise as you board the boat. There are no advance reservations or tickets for the Summer public cruise season.
Each cruise offers a scenic tour around the lake, with historical narration included, and takes approximately 1 and 1/2 hours.
Food and beverages are not provided by Barbara J Cruises, however, you are welcome to bring your own.
Public parking is limited on 1st St., near the boat; however, parking is readily available on Water St. and at Fireman’s Beach.
By boarding the Barbara J, each passenger acknowledges that an inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present. By taking a cruise on the Barbara J, each passenger voluntarily assumes all risks related to exposure to COVID-19 and agrees not to hold Barbara J Cruises or any of its employees, associates, sponsors, or volunteers liable for any illness or injury.
The following guidelines from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will be adhered to by each passenger:
Occupancy per Commonwealth of PA guidelines
50 passengers max per cruise
25 people max on each level
Masks required upon boarding and exiting, on lower level, and upon moving throughout the boat
Bring your own mask
Distancing per Commonwealth of PA guidelines
Seating per chair/table arrangements
Maintain distance while standing
